Daily Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks.
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including routers, proxies, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Monitoring network performance to ensure that the network is operating optimally.
  • Providing network administration and support.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and outages.
  • Collaborating with network architects to optimize network performance.
  • Researching and making recommendations on network products, services, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
