Daily Responsibilities
- Classifying goods according to tariff coding systems
- Preparing customs declarations and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Calculating import duties and taxes
- Liaising with government agencies to resolve issues related to customs entries and inspections
- Advising clients on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, and other customs-related matters
- Monitoring shipments and tracking their status
- Staying updated with changes in laws and regulations related to international trade
